This competition is open to all woodworking students (aged 19 and under), at schools and colleges within the U.K
The entries should be woodworking projects undertaken at the school or college and can only be entered by the school/college’s woodworking instructor/teacher, (one entry per student). Team entries will also be accepted. No entries will be accepted from students themselves.Fitchett & Woollacott Ltd are at the forefront of supporting the sourcing of sustainable growth timber and encourage its use. Projects using sustainable growth timber should be indicated on the entry form. Fitchett’s range of timbers is from sustainable sources.
No employees of Fitchett & Woollacott, are eligible for this competition
All work must be supervised by the school/college’s woodworking staff and must comply with Health & Safety directives
Fitchett & Woollacott take no responsibility for work carried out without qualified supervision
Entries must be received by noon on 29 October 2009 and the winners will be announced on the website on Thursday 5 November 2009
Judging, by the Board of Directors of Fitchett & Woollacott Ltd
The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into
Use of entrant’s photographs. The organisers reserve the right to use submitted images for publicity purposes including their use by third parties e.g. consumer and trade publications and the broadcasting media. Photographs taken at the prize giving will be used on the Fitchett & Woollacott website and within circulated media.
